A creaTive Journey through The 7 Chakra’s

Root Chakra: Representing grounding and stability, this chakra will be expressed through mixed media sculpting. Participants will use red, brown, and wine-coloured recycled materials combined with a lot of glue to create textured, three-dimensional elements that evoke a sense of connection to the earth. Sacral Chakra: Symbolising creativity and emotional fluidity, this chakra can be expressed using acrylic pour techniques. Participants will experiment with pouring liquid acrylics in vibrant shades of orange to create flowing, marbled patterns that capture the dynamic energy of this chakra. Solar Plexus Chakra: Reflecting personal power and vitality, this chakra will be depicted through a mosaic of seeds and pips. Using materials like dried seeds, beans, and pips, participants will create intricate patterns in warm yellow hues, symbolising growth, strength, and radiating energy. Heart Chakra: Associated with love and compassion, this chakra can be explored through gelli printing with layers and masks. Participants will create layered prints using shades of green, building textures and patterns that express the depth and openness of the heart. Throat Chakra: Focused on communication and self-expression, this chakra will be illustrated through collage, including automatic writing. Participants will incorporate spontaneous writing, torn paper, and layered images in blue tones to explore themes of truth and clarity. Third Eye Chakra: Representing intuition and insight, this chakra will be captured using glue, salt, and watercolour techniques. Participants will apply glue to create raised designs, sprinkle salt for texture, and then add watercolour in shades of indigo, creating mystical, organic patterns. Crown Chakra: Symbolising spiritual connection and enlightenment, this chakra will be expressed through layered decoupage with tissue papers. Using delicate layers of tissue paper in white, violet, and gold, participants will build a soft, ethereal effect that reflects the chakra's transcendent qualities. These diverse techniques allow for personal interpretation and creative freedom, providing a hands-on exploration of each chakra’s unique energy and symbolism.
