Gelliprinting your own Seasons’ Greetings, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the evening together.
This session works well as a laid-back, sociable evening out. There’s a light meditative moment early on, just a few minutes to settle in and think about how small acts of sparkle and kindness brighten someone’s day, with an optional line or two of journalling if it appeals. From there it’s straight into the hands-on part, no pressure to sit with anything too long.
Working the gel plate is simple and forgiving. Participants print onto dark paper with paint and biodegradable glitter, then build their own personalised cards, everyone finding their own rhythm. No experience is needed and all materials are provided, with guidance throughout to keep things easy for a mixed-ability group.
Alongside the making there’s a proper social side to the evening, with drinks and nibbles at Rustig and plenty of chat as people work. It’s a relaxed, social evening as much as a creative one.
By the end, everyone takes home their own hand-crafted festive cards, a simple, personal reminder of an evening well spent.
