A story you can wear
At the end of the workshop, participants will have visibly mended or embellished a garment or fabric item they brought with them — or, if none was available, worked on a provided scrap or accessory. The aim is not to create a decorative artwork, but to engage in a process of care, repair, and quiet transformation. Each stitch becomes part of a personal story — one that values continuity over replacement, and presence over perfection. Participants leave not just with a renewed item, but with a renewed way of seeing what once might have been discarded.
There is a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in.
Leonard Cohen
