Crossing the Veil
The workshop will incorporate a conscious theme of honoring and connecting with ancestors, which will be introduced with a guided meditation at the beginning of each session. This meditation will help participants center themselves and open their hearts to the memories and presence of their loved ones. Throughout the workshop, participants will be encouraged to reflect on their connections to those who have passed, using journaling and optional sharing at the end of each session to deepen their experience.
Creative Roots
In the workshop, participants will use recycled materials to create a symbolic tree. Techniques such as simple cutting and sculpting, and symbolic arrangement will be applied to personalize each tree. All workshops are suited for people with no creative experience or skills, and we encourage a positive attitude towards everyone’s work. This is not an art class; instead, participants will receive guidance through the process step-by-step and are encouraged to personalize their tree with their own insights and ideas.
A Tree of Remembrance
At the end of the workshop, participants will have a beautiful, symbolic tree adorned with messages of love, remembrance, and gratitude. This tree will not only serve as a unique personal piece of art but also as a tangible reminder of the meaningful experience they had in connecting with their loved ones and celebrating their lives.!
As part of our celebration of Samhain, we have created this unique workshop dedicated to honoring and remembering those who have passed away. Samhain is an ancient Celtic festival that marks the end of the harvest season and the onset of winter. It is believed that during this time, the veil between our world and the spirit world is at its thinnest, making it an ideal occasion to communicate with and honor our ancestors and loved ones.
