The workshop will incorporate a conscious theme of tempering, which will be brought into the space with a guided meditation at the beginning of the session. Participants will be guided to envision the transformative flame of St. Brigid’s fire and the gentle flow of her healing waters, setting the tone for introspection and balance throughout the workshop.

In the workshop, participants will learn how to use strips of light yellow, light green, and white paper to weave their personal reflections into a St. Brigid’s Cross. Through the techniques of journaling and folding, they will intertwine words representing areas of their lives needing the empowering spark of enthusiasm (fire) and those requiring a more tranquil approach (water).

All Conscious Crafting workshops are suited for people with no creative experience or skills. Participants will receive step-by-step guidance, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment where personal insights and creative expression can flourish.

At the end of the workshop, participants will have created their own St. Brigid’s Cross adorned with words reflecting the balance between fire and water in their lives. This tangible artwork will serve as a unique personal piece, reminding them of the meaningful experience and the wisdom of temperance. With the positive affirmation, “With the wisdom of temperance, may we find balance in passion and calmness, strength in moderation, and harmony in the midst of life’s elements,” participants will carry forth a renewed sense of balance and harmony into their lives.
