My home, like a harbour,
Shields me from life’s Storms,
Offering Shelter and Protection
Sheltering Creativity
The workshop incorporates a conscious theme of protection and shelter, introduced through a guided meditation at the beginning of each session. This theme is woven into the creative process, encouraging participants to reflect on the concept of home as a haven. Through journaling and optional sharing, participants can connect more deeply with the idea of creating a personal sanctuary.
Crafting with Purpose
Participants will utilise materials such as wood, rope, sea glass, paint, and acrylic to learn techniques in crafting and painting. This workshop is suitable for individuals with no prior creative experience. Participants will receive step-by-step guidance and are encouraged to infuse their personal insights and ideas into their work, resulting in unique and meaningful creations.
A Personal Sanctuary
By the end of the workshop, participants will have crafted their own little harbour houses. These creations will serve not only as distinctive pieces of art but also as reminders of the workshop’s theme: “My home, like a harbour, shields me from life’s storms, offering shelter and protection.”
